When Guest Chef Jason opened his restaurants Bondir in Concord and Cambridge, he brought more than memories growing up on ranches in Wyoming and Kansas, he brought his grandmother’s chicken and noodle recipe! “It was rustic and flavorful” and I knew I had to do it when I first opened Bondir,” he says.
He also wants to bring fresh, local produce to his restaurant, so he started Bondir Gardens, a one-acre plot that sits on Sweet Autumn Farm in Carlisle. Vegetables and herbs are delivered throughout the growing season.
“I like to find excellent ingredients that are healthful, and feel good about it,” he says. “I enjoy working with kids – they’re excited to cook and eat what they’ve made, and I feel the same way!”
