Liza Connolly - co-Founder

Liza is passionate about food, gardening and cooking. Prior to having children she cooked in Italy and at Boston’s finest restaurants. Today, cooking and celebrating food with her children is an essential part of everyday life. As an active volunteer in the community, she has managed the creation of two international cookbooks and fundraisers for her children’s elementary school. Liza has also volunteered at the Lexington Farmers’ Market. Her contributions include providing her own recipes using local produce for the market website and bringing new farmers and vendors to the market. In conjunction with their multi-cultural arts programs, Liza has taught inner-city children cooking at Passim in Cambridge. A volunteer for Share Our Strength, she taught for the Frontline Program for several years. Liza is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where she studied psychology, as well as a graduate of Cambridge School of Culinary Arts.
